I have always been an adventurous person. I have hiked mountains and canyons; and I have seen things and places that many other people will see.
Adventure is the most precise word because it includes the elements of fear and excitement it.
It would be a lie to claim that I am exceedingly fearful of college. Now that I am a year away from going to college, I am beginning to realize that I need to be more mature, responsible, and aware.
However, the same concepts that frighten me also excite me.
I'll be living on my own and responsible for myself. I will also be able to do more of what I want. No more Mom telling me not to go to the bookstore!
I can not wait to go to football games, basketball games, and to explore a new city.
Yes, I'm excited and paralyzed with fear, but if I wasn't both college would be as much as an adventure.
