While watching hundreds of rounds of fireworks over the Missouri River with my cousins, I began to think of how important the Chinese are to the world.
It may seem crazy, but fireworks were invented by the Chinese so I'm not insane (or high).
What would the 4th of July be without fireworks? Just another American grill-out I assume.
Anyway, the Chinese have made imperative contributions to the world today. Whether it was trade, culture, production or even influence, China has been shaping the world since ancient times.
Even today they dominate many aspects of civilization. When was the last time you found a trinket that wasn't made in China?
Even though I despise that China dominates trade today, I applaud them for having the capability to do so. That's what I would want for my country.
The Chinese culture, in my opinion, is one to be celebrated. With so many advancements and inventions they have provided the world, there is no way the world would be the same without it.
